The Japan Association for the 2025 World Exposition (hereinafter referred to as “the Association”) has been accepting proposals for the provision of facilities, goods, and services necessary for site development and site operation of Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan (hereinafter referred to as “the Expo”) as sponsorship in order to make the Expo more attractive and comfortable for all visitors. The Association has solicited proposals since February 2022, and many companies and organizations have expressed their keen interest in participating.
The Association is pleased to announce that it has concluded new sponsorship contracts with the following 59 sponsors whose sponsorships were approved by December 1, 2023. The total number of sponsors for Expo Site Development Sponsorship and Expo Site Operation Sponsorship has now reached 133.
For the Expo site development Sponsorship and Expo site operation Sponsorship, the Association is asking for sponsorship for a variety of goods and services, encouraging small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) as well as other small businesses and organizations to participate. The Association is scheduled to accept the next round of proposals for sponsorship from companies and organizations around March 2024. The Association will announce on its website the information of the companies and organizations that have been selected as new sponsors in due course.
