The Japan Association for the 2025 World Exposition (hereafter referred to as “the Association”) will promote Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan (hereinafter referred to as “the Expo”) at “30Manga Barcelona” (Barcelona, Spain, 5 December -8 December 2024).
A PR booth will be set up to promote the attractions of the Expo. The Expo’s official character, MYAKU-MYAKU, will also make an appearance at the venue to take part in various events, including the opening ceremony, and hold a meet-and -greet with visitors. In addition, we will conduct a campaign in which those who take photos and post them to social media will be given commemorative Expo items. MYAKU-MYAKU will also appear on the main stage in collaboration with PSYCHIC FEVER, who have been appointed special supporters of the Expo. PSYCHIC FEVER is a dance and vocal group that is highly popular among young people and has expanded its playing field beyond Japan to overseas.This will be MYAKU-MYAKU’s first visit to Spain.
With less than 150 days to go before the opening of the Expo, MYAKU-MYAKU will be actively promoting the attractions of the Expo overseas to build momentum.
30 Manga Barcelona (Spain)
Dates: Thursday 5 December 2024 – Sunday 8 December 2024, 10:00-20:00
Venue: Fira Barcelona Gran Via, Halls 4, 5, 6, and 7 (Expo Booth: Hall 4, P4, No.26)
Outline: Held every December in Barcelona, this is one of the largest exhibitions of Japanese anime and manga in Spain. In 2024, it will celebrate its 30th anniversary, fostering fans of Japan across generations in Spain. Last year, the event recorded a total of over 165,000 visitors over the four days.
