The Japan Association for the 2025 World Exposition is publicly soliciting nicknames for the official character of Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan, along with the new web page created for its application.
Following the official logo mark announced last August, the design of the official character was decided in March 2022. The goal is that the character, as another symbol of the Expo after the logo mark, will be loved by and give a sense of affinity to people all over the world. The Association is widely accepting applications for the official character’s nickname regardless of whether they are professionals or amateurs. The best nickname will be announced around July.
