Message from
the two of KOBUKURO

We have produced “Kono Hoshi no Tsuzuki wo” as the official theme song for
Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan to be held in 2025. The melody is a simple tune that
can be easily sung by children, adults, the elderly, and even foreigners visiting Japan
for the first time ever for this Expo.
The lyrics portray the expectations of the opening of the Expo in 2025 and the hopes beyond.

Fifty-five years after the EXPO 70′ held in Osaka, the Expo will come again,
so we have incorporated in the song our respect and homage to that historic event.
We still have a desire that the quest for the future, life,
and peace that humankind continues to pursue should be universal.
This Expo should portray a new vision for our lives and the continuing future of this planet.
A big event sent from Japan on a global scale. I hope this will be a song
that will bring a lively breeze to the story that connects from the Expo.
