The Japan Association for the 2025 World Exposition is delighted to announce that as July 18 falls on 1000 days before the opening of the EXPO, the “TEAM EXPO 2025” program 1000 Days To Go Project will be held for a limited period from July 1 to August 31.
With the catchphrase “1000 days before the opening of the Expo. Let’s start changing the future,” this project aims to foster momentum toward the opening of the Expo as participants in the “TEAM EXPO 2025” program distribute information on events related to the 1000 Days To Go project. In addition, this project conveys “TEAM EXPO 2025” program’s activities ― “Creating the Expo means making the future better, even just a little” ― to many more people. It will assist in increasing the number of participants and lead to expanding the circle of Co-creation.
On July 1, the Association opened a special web page to post events hosted by participants in this program. Participants in this program will share common key visuals and official PR videos through social media.
２．Outline
①Special web page launch (https://team.expo2025.or.jp/ja/1000days_to_go)
A special web page for this project will be set up to post events hosted by participants in this program during the project period. Official PR videos will be also shared.
②Development of key visuals
Key visuals dedicated for this project will be created and provided free of charge to the participants of this program. During the project period, the participants can use the key visuals for distribution items that are not for-sale, social media, event equipment, etc., and share the message “Join 2025 1000 Days To Go!”

③ Development of official PR movie
An official PR video (73 seconds) using photos recording the activities of the Co-creation Challenge of the “TEAM EXPO 2025” program will be produced and be shared on the special web page. In addition, the video will be provided to the participants of this program and will be posted on events and social media during the project period.
④ Project “Cho 1000”
At the events hosted by the participants of this program, goal setting and challenges related to “1000” will be conducted. These challenges will be shared on social media using the hashtag, #Cho1000.
３．Participation requirements
In order to participate in this project, the following requirements should be satisfied.
・The host should be a participant of the “TEAM EXPO 2025” program.
・Events should be conducted during the “TEAM EXPO 2025” program period (online programs included).
・Events should be related to the activities registered in the “TEAM EXPO 2025” program.
The “TEAM EXPO 2025” program is an initiative aimed at creating the ideal future society together, with diverse participants taking the lead. The purpose of this program is the realization of the theme of Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan, “Designing Future Society for Our Lives,” and the contribution to the achievement of SDGs toward the opening of the Expo. This program began in October 2020 and since then various initiatives by “Co-creation Challenges” and “Co-creation Partners” have started.
As of the end of May 2022, the number of “Co-creation Challenges” is 512, that of “Co-creation Partners” is 179.
