2022.10.14 Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan, First International Planning Meeting to be held

The Japan Association for the 2025 World Exposition will host the International Planning Meeting (hereinafter referred to as IPM) for two days from October 25 to 26. The meeting is held for the first time in Japan with regard to Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan.
This international meeting aims to provide various information to foreign governments and international organizations that have confirmed their participation. Not only countries that have already confirmed their participation but also those that have not yet are qualified to participate in this meeting. The Expo directors from each country will attend the meeting and they will join a Yumeshima site visit, the Expo site. In addition to that, the Association will give a wide range of information regarding pavilion construction, production and operation of exhibition, and planning of Virtual Expo. For the countries which will have self-built pavilions, the Association will hold an individual meeting so that they will implement the smooth construction work. On-site visit is also planned to deepen the understanding of the Osaka and Kansai regions.
IPM will serve as an opportunity to deepen each country’s understanding of the Expo so that preparations for the exhibition will be further accelerated. The Association continuously proceeds to prepare for the construction of the pavilion, which will start from or after April 2023.
