The Japan Association for the 2025 World Exposition is pleased to announce the following sponsors for the Water Plaza Water Show (tentative name), one of the “Future Society Showcase Projects ” at Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan.
The “Water Plaza Water Show” is scheduled to be held every day during the 184-day Expo period on the “Water Plaza,” the water area surrounded by the Ring. The Water Plaza is a recreational area adjacent to the Signature Pavilions, and many visitors are expected to enjoy the area. Together with the sponsors, the Association will work to realize a show that will inspire people around the world and will be deeply engraved in their memories.
The Association is still in discussions with many companies and organizations for each of the “Future Society Showcase Projects,” and will announce new sponsors in due course.

The Water Plaza, one of the symbolic areas of the Expo, is open to the sea and sky, where people get together. The theme of the show is “water” and “air,” which are indispensable for our lives, in line with the Expo’s theme of “Designing Future Society for Our Lives”. This show aims to remain in the hearts and minds of the visitors, encouraging them to think together about what we, as people living in the present, should do for the future. Details of the show will be announced as soon as they are finalized.
▽About Future Society Showcase Projects
This is a general term to mention a group of projects that provide experiences to a wide range of participants and visitors from Japan and abroad by utilizing technologies and services that realize the theme of the Expo, “Designing Future Society for Our Lives” for the development, operation, exhibition, and events of the Expo site which will be a “People’s Living Lab”, in the form of “demonstration” that gives a sense of the future after 2025 and “implementation” that is suitable for the Expo.
