・Automatic translation system [Digital Expo]
The goal is to provide a future communication environment without “language barriers” by utilizing advanced automatic translation systems (consecutive translation and automatic simultaneous interpretation) for events prior to the Expo and for guidance and services at the Expo site during the period of the Expo. The automatic translation system will be demonstrated in a variety of situations, such as responding to enquiries from foreign visitors using a smartphone app, providing multilingual explanations at exhibitions and events held at the venue, providing simultaneous multilingual interpretation services at online seminars, etc., as well as multilingual communication at the virtual venue, and the system creates the “communication of the future” and enables visitors from all over the world to experience global exchange as they wish.

・Projection system [Digital Expo]
The projection system will be installed in the “Main Event Hall,” a facility for various events with a maximum capacity of approximately 2,000 people, to enable visitors to experience projection mapping not only on the stage but also in all 360° directions. The Ushio Group’s Christie Digital Systems (headquartered in the U.S.) provided RGB pure laser projectors and other equipment for Expo 2020 Dubai, held from October 2021 to March 2022, and will further evolve these systems for the Expo to create immersive, futuristic light experiences and enhance the spatial value of the Expo site.
