2023.02.22 A Publicity and Promotion Sponsorship Agreement Concluded with W TOKYO INC., Planner and Producer of “TOKYO GIRLS COLLECTION, ~Collaboration Stage at “the 36th Mynavi TOKYO GIRLS COLLECTION 2023 SPRING/SUMMER” on March 4! ~

The Japan Association for the 2025 World Exposition (hereinafter referred to as the Association) signed a publicity and promotion sponsorship agreement on February 20 with W TOKYO INC., planner and producer of TOKYO GIRLS COLLECTION (hereinafter referred to as TGC) (Headquarters: Shibuya ward, Tokyo, CEO: MURAKAMI Noriyoshi) as “Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan (hereinafter referred to as the Expo) PR bronze partner” to build momentum for the Expo together with the Association.
This sponsorship agreement was realized in response to W TOKYO INC.’s proposal to use TGC, which is its core business, as the axis to help expand awareness of the Expo, build momentum for the Expo, and motivate visitors to come to the Expo, especially among young adults, mainly Generation Z.
Until October 13, 2025, when the Expo period ends, W TOKYO INC. will develop various PR and promotional activities by continuously utilizing the company’s advantages, including not only real venues such as TGC in Tokyo twice a year and TGC in regional cities, but also platforms such as social networking services and metaverse (virtual TGC).
As a kick-off event with this sponsorship agreement, a collaboration stage for the Expo will be held at the 36th Mynavi TOKYO GIRLS COLLECTION 2023 SPRING/SUMMER on March 4, 2023.

Toward Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan, the TOKYO GIRLS COLLECTION Executive Committee is honored to have signed a publicity and promotion sponsorship agreement with the Japan Association for the 2025 World Exposition.
We will maximize the use of our assets, based on our core business, TOKYO GIRLS COLLECTION, targeting young people, especially Generation Z, which is strength of society, by holding the “36th Mynavi TOKYO GIRLS COLLECTION 2023 SPRING/SUMMER” on Saturday, March 4, 2023., followed by the biannual Tokyo TGC and the TGC in regional cities, which is being implemented as a regional development project. We will continue to utilize platforms that encompass not only real venues but also online, including the media, official TGC social networking services, and metaverse (virtual TGC). From now, for about two and a half years, we and the Association will work together to help expand awareness of the Expo, build momentum for the Expo, and stimulate interest in visiting the Expo.
