In October 2020, the Japan Association for the 2025 World Exposition started the “TEAM EXPO 2025” Programme, an initiative aimed at creating the ideal future society together, with diverse participants taking the lead. The purpose of this programme is the realization of the theme of Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan, “Designing Future Society for Our Lives,” and the contribution to the achievement of SDGs toward the opening of the Expo.
The “Startup Boost Project” will be launched to create new Co-Creation by supporting startup companies, venture companies, and participating members (Co-Creation members) of the Co-Creation Challenges who aim to launch startups.
・The project will create opportunities to present the initiatives of the Co-Creation Challenges, which are growing as start-ups, to various audiences at Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan (hereinafter referred to as “the Expo”) and at the “TEAM EXPO 2025 Meeting.”
・The project encourages the participation of Co-Creation Partners who play the roles of “mentor,” “accelerator,” and “incubator, “* and creates new co-creation opportunities to support Co-Creation Challenges with a diverse range of Co-Creation Partners.
・The project will provide opportunities for “dialogue” with many Co-Creation members based on the selected theme, leading to “Co-Creation”.
・The project will build momentum for “awareness, natural features of regions, and trend” that will lead to startups at the Expo and nurture the next generation of leaders, including elementary, junior high, and high school students.
※ To act as a “mentor,” “accelerator,” or “incubator,” you must register as a Co-Creation Partner.
・”Mentor”: Corporate executives who serve as role models and provide advice and guidance to Co-Creation members in their work and careers.
・”Accelerator”: Companies and local governments that provide investment and support to Co-Creation members.
・”Incubator”: Companies and local governments that provide support for Co-Creation members to start their own businesses, including support for business spaces and know-how.
