The Japan Association for the 2025 World Exposition (hereinafter referred to as “the Association”) has established a momentum-fostering committee in order to further increase nationwide interest in, willingness to visit, and awareness for participation in Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan (hereinafter referred to as “the Expo”). On June 12, 2023, the first general assembly meeting was held and the Momentum-Fostering Action Plan Ver.1 was then established that outlines the goals to be achieved, the period of time to be focused on, and the details of cooperation to be requested from each entity to help foster momentum for the Expo. The Association will mobilize a wide range of stakeholders throughout Japan to develop momentum fostering activities domestically and internationally, which will lead to the success of the Expo.

We aim to further increase interest in, willingness to visit, and awareness for participation in the Expo by fostering nationwide momentum for the success of the Expo and by effectively promoting the Expo overseas. A momentum-fostering committee will be established to achieve these goals and to bring together the strengths of a wide range of stakeholders.
・To assess the overall status of momentum-fostering activities for the Expo and develop effective promotional measures.
・To disseminate information on attractive Expo content to people from all walks of life, and expand exposure through mass media and digital communications.
・Committee members will share roles and responsibilities to develop and implement initiatives to foster momentum nationwide.
・To strongly promote efforts to expand exposure so that people can feel familiar with and learn about the Expo.
