The Japan Association for the 2025 World Exposition (hereinafter referred to as “the Association”) hereby announces that applications for sponsorship of Expo Site Development Participation (the 2nd recruitment) and Expo Site Operation Participation (the 5th recruitment) are now open as follows.
The Association invites enterprises and organizations as sponsors to provide facilities, goods, and services necessary for the operation and development of Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan (hereinafter referred to as “the Expo”) in order to make the Expo even more attractive and more comfortable for all visitors.
With less than two years to go before the opening of the Expo, the Association is renewing its call for applications for approximately 1,000 items, including audio equipment for use at the Main Event Halls and items to relieve the summer heat, to further accelerate preparations for the opening of the Expo. The specific range of sponsorship will be decided after communication between the Association and the enterprises and organizations that have applied.
Regarding Expo Site Development Participation and Expo Site Operation Participation, many enterprises and organizations have already shown their keen interest; the Association received many applications from approximately 350 enterprises and organizations, of which more than 50 have been selected to sponsor the Expo. The Association is still in discussions with various companies and organizations for sponsorship and will announce new sponsors on the official website in due course.

・Wednesday, July 12, 2023: Announcement of application guidelines and start of the acceptance of sponsorship proposals
・At any time after receipt of application: Individual hearings on sponsorship proposals
・Wednesday, September 6, 2023: Deadline for questions
・Wednesday, September 13, 2023: Deadline for submission of sponsorship proposals
・Late September 2023 or later (tentative): Notification of the results of sponsorship proposals, conclusion of sponsorship contracts, and announcement of sponsor names (sequentially)
