The Japan Association for the 2025 World Exposition (hereinafter referred to as “the Association”) and the Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan Master Licensing Office (hereinafter referred to as the “2025MLO”) announce that the “Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan Official Store – Abeno Harukas Store” will open on Wednesday, September 6, 2023, as the first official store.
The “Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan Official Store” not only sells official licensed products, including products featuring MYAKU-MYAKU―the official character of Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan (hereinafter referred to as “the Expo”) ―but also disseminates a variety of information about the Expo as a contact point between the Expo and everyone. It aims to become a store where many people will eagerly await and can look forward to the opening of the Expo.
In order to deliver the appeal of the Expo to more people and further build momentum throughout Japan, the Association and the 2025MLO will gradually expand the official stores throughout Japan.

The theme of the first official store “Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan Official Store – Abeno Harukas Store” is “family.” The Abeno Harukas store will not only sell official licensed products, but will also provide a mechanism for visitors to feel familiar with and interested in the Expo.
The “Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan Official Store“ logomark is MYAKU-MYAKU with shopping bags as icons. It represents “purchasing“, which is a valuable experience at the official store, and “disseminating Expo information.” The colors of the shopping bags are based on a design system*1 and each store can choose its colors from among the four colors: “Inochi,” “Umi,” “Noyama,” and “Hikari,” representing the diversity of the Expo.
