The Japan Association for the 2025 World Exposition (hereinafter referred to as “the Association”) will conduct the first round of applications and surveys for the use of the North Yumeshima Floating Pier as follows.
This first round of applications and surveys will be implemented based on the results of the survey from the “Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai Briefing Session on Waterways” conducted with the Osaka Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Kansai Economic Federation, and the Kansai Association of Corporate Executives, as well as interviews from operators who showed a high interest in using the North Yumeshima Floating Pier for regular service. The results showed that there is a certain amount of demand for the use of the North Yumeshima Floating Pier during the Expo.
The necessary adjustments to the operation of the North Yumeshima Floating Pier during the Expo, including the date and time of its use, will be made with the operators who have applied in the first round of applications. These efforts will be done to ensure the safe and secure transportation of visitors to the Expo site by use of the waterways.

・Application (Survey) Period ：From Friday, October 6, 2023 to Friday, October 20, 2023
・How to Apply (Respond)：Apply by email with the subject title “Application (Survey: PDF Excel, Japanese only) for the first round for the use of the North Yumeshima Floating Pier”.
・Terms of the Application：Outline, period and time of use, fees, etc. for using the floating pier.
・Response Items：Vessels, planned route, desired floating pier to be used, desired date and time, etc.
