The Japan Association for the 2025 World Exposition (hereinafter referred to as “the Association”), has unveiled new main images today to promote the sales of admission tickets, which will go on advance sale on Thursday, November 30, 500 days before the opening of Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan (hereinafter referred as “the Expo”).
The promotional images are a combination of a catchphrase and an image of MYAKU-MYAKU, the official character of the Expo, moving against a background of the “sky and sea”. Four catchphrase patterns were created to attract interest in the Expo: the main catchphrase, “EXPO 2025 is coming!” and sub-catchphrases geared towards families, business people, and people who experienced Expo ’70, respectively.
Utilizing websites, SNS, posters, stickers, and digital signage which are seen by many people in major transportation facilities, the Association will promote the attractive features of the Expo among a wide range of people. Promotional images for use overseas will also be developed to promote the attractive features of the Expo to be held in 2025, both domestically and internationally, in order to promote the advance sales of admission tickets.
