The Japan Association for the 2025 World Exposition (hereinafter referred to as “the Association”) hereby announces that a new sponsor for the “EXPO Green Challenge App” project at Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan (hereinafter referred to as “the Expo”) has been decided.
The “EXPO Green Challenge App” is an “application to visualize individual greenhouse gas reductions” that was solicited for Expo Site Operation Participation (5th round) to embody the “EXPO Green Challenge” described in the “EXPO 2025 Green Vision”. From 2024 onwards, we plan to accumulate the results of greenhouse gas reduction efforts of all the individual users registered on this application toward the sustainable operation of the Expo.
Details on the application will be announced as soon as determined.

The Association will implement the “Expo Green Challenge,” a project to promote various global warming prevention initiatives “inspired by the Expo,” even before the Expo opens, as well as to provide “EXPO Green Challenge App” services in which the results of greenhouse gas reduction efforts of individual users registered on the app are accumulated.
