In October 2020, the Japan Association for the 2025 World Exposition started the “TEAM EXPO 2025” programme, an initiative aimed at creating the ideal future society together, with diverse participants taking the lead. The purpose of this programme is the realization of the theme of Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan, “Designing Future Society for Our Lives,” and the contribution to the achievement of SDGs toward the opening of the Expo.
New organizations have been registered as Co-creation Partners of the “TEAM EXPO 2025” programme and will participate in this program as follows:
Last December, 43 new activities have been registered as Co-creation Challenges and the total number registered has reached 1,500. Toward the year 2025 and the future society beyond, 1,520 Co-creation Challenges, which a diverse range of people are working with, are underway. 7 new Co-creation partners have been registered, reaching a total number of 364 organizations.
The Association will continue to recruit participants for the “TEAM EXPO 2025” program and promote Co-creation through exchange meetings among participants to further enhance the activities of this program in preparation for the Expo.
