2024.02.14 “The 5th Kansai SDGs Youth Meeting 2023” To Be Held

The Kansai SDGs Platform and Japan Association for the 2025 World Exposition (hereinafter referred to as “the Association”) will hold “The 5th Kansai SDGs Youth Meeting 2023” for students, companies and organisations that have an interest in the SDGs.
The Association hopes that participants will enjoy learning about the SDGs and deepen their understanding of Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan (hereinafter referred to as “the Expo”), which aims to contribute to the achievement of the SDGs. The Association would also like to encourage participation in various initiatives in the run-up to the Expo to build momentum for the Expo.

Overview of the Event

1. Time and date: Morning session – 11:00 to 13:00, Afternoon session – 14:30 to 17:00, Friday, February 23, 2024 (tentative)

2.Hosts: Kansai SDGs Platform and the Japan Association for the 2025 World Exposition

3.Organisers: Kansai SDGs Platform, Education Subcommittee, and SDGs Knowledge Lab.

4.In cooperation with: Osaka College of Animation & e-Sports, Kansai University KANDAI for SDGs Promotion Project, and Broadcasting Art College

Schools participating in the Junior Expo 2025 Educational Program offered by the Association will present their ideas for designing future society for “all” our lives.

Announcement of results of “The 5th Kansai SDGs Youth Action 2023”
Of the 225 submitted ideas and actions to achieve the SDGs, 19 particularly excellent ideas and actions will be selected as “Good Actions” to be introduced and awarded the Grand Prize and other awards.
