　The Japan Association for the 2025 World Exposition (hereinafter referred to as “the Association”) is pleased to announce that the following sponsor has been decided for the EXPO Co-creation Project, part of the “Future Society Showcase Project Exhibition” at Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan (hereinafter referred to as ”the Expo”).
　The EXPO Co-creation Project will continue to solicit sponsorships. New sponsors will be announced in a timely manner.

■ Content of the project
　Free loan of facilities and supplies in the “EXPO Co-creation Project”
　East Japan Railway Company will provide the Association with facilities and supplies  the venue of the “TEAM EXPO 2025 MEETING”. In July 2024, the Association plans to hold the first “TEAM EXPO 2025 MEETING” in the Kanto region, and the details will be posted on the Association’s official website.

■ About their activities as a Co-Creation Partner of the “TEAM EXPO 2025” programme
　East Japan Railway Company has been registered as a Co-Creation Partner of the “TEAM EXPO 2025” programme as “JR East (TAKANAWA GATEWAY CITY)” since November 2023.

　TAKANAWA GATEWAY CITY will consider various issues together while utilizing the functions of this city as a test site for co-creation and will continue to support the activities of Co-Creation Challenges, which resonates with their efforts to find clues to solving social issues.

　From fiscal year 2024, participatory programs (workshops, pitch sessions) will be held by Co-Creation Challenges and Co-Creation Partners at the “TokyoYard Building,” a base for co-creation near Takanawa Gateway Station. Details of the program themes will be announced on the TAKANAWA GATEWAY CITY website and SNS.

■ About the Future Society Showcase Projects
This project is a general term to mention a group of projects that provide experiences to a wide range of participants and visitors from Japan and abroad by utilizing technologies and services that support the theme of the Expo, “Designing Future Society for Our Lives” for the development, operation, exhibition, and events of the Expo site, which will be a “People’s Living Lab”, in the form of “demonstration” that gives a sense of the future after 2025 and “implementation” that is suitable for the Expo.
