The Japan Association for the 2025 World Exposition (hereinafter referred to as “the Association) would like to inform you that imma, a virtual human, will be appointed as a special supporter of Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan (hereinafter referred to as “the Expo”), who will cooperate with our promotional activities. (Appointed on April 3, 2024)
Special supporter imma is Japan’s first virtual human produced by Aww Inc. (Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; Representative MORIYA Takayuki). She has carried out a wide range of unique activities not only in Japan, but also aimed at overseas markets.
From now on, as a special supporter, we will ask her to cooperate with Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan’s various promotional activities for Japan and overseas.

imma, with her distinctive pink bob hairstyle, is the first virtual human in Asia.
Since her debut in 2018, her one-of-a-kind existence, which transcends the line between real and virtual, has caused a stir around the world and has become a popular topic of conversation in more than 8,000 media outlets in 60 countries.
Today, she has grown to become Asia’s leading virtual human, with almost 400,000 followers on Instagram and over 480,000 on TikTok. In 2020, she was named one of the Women of the Year 2020 by Forbes Women, published by Forbes (PL), and appeared at the closing ceremony of the Tokyo 2020 Paralympics in 2021.

Special Supporters are groups of supporters for Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan where people, groups, characters, etc. with many fans or supporters can use their influence to convey the appeal and philosophy of the Expo. The Japan Association for the 2025 World Exposition will continue to increase the number of people interested in the Expo by having various people join as Special Supporters.
