The Japan Association for the 2025 World Exposition (hereinafter referred to as “the Association”) is pleased to announce the first instalment of information about events at Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan (hereinafter referred to as “the Expo”), such as National Days and Special Days by the Official Participants (foreign governments and international organisations that have confirmed their participation in the Expo) and other several events, has been released.
A wide variety of events which will allow visitors to feel the excitement and fun of learning and discovery will be held at the Expo. We will continue to announce further attractive events in future.
National Days and Special Days are days to honour the participation of the Official Participants. They will be held to deepen the understanding of the culture of the Official Participants and to contribute to the promotion of international goodwill. Distinguished guests from Japan and overseas will be invited by the Official Participants to attend the ceremonies and cultural events.
Of the 161 countries/regions and 9 international organisations that have now officially announced their participation, we have been authorised to release the dates of the National Days and Special Days of 102 countries/regions and 4 international organisations.

Various events such as Music Events, Stage Events, Festival (“Matsuri”), Sports Events, Exhibitions, Seminars/Presentations, Ceremonies, etc. will be held at Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan. We announced 116 events that can now be disclosed.
