2024.04.22 Volunteer Uniform Design Decided

The Japan Association for the 2025 World Exposition, Osaka City, and Osaka Prefecture are pleased to announce that they have decided on the design of the uniform to be worn by volunteers who will guide and welcome visitors at the site of Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan (hereinafter referred to as “the Expo”) and at major train stations, airports, and other locations.
The uniforms will serve as a great memento of the volunteer’s participation in the Expo and will hopefully inspire them to continue to get involved in various other volunteer opportunities in the future at the Expo closes.
Considering that people from a wide range of generations will volunteer, we designed a uniform that everyone can feel comfortable in. The colour scheme is based on navy, which is the colour of SDG 17, “Partnership for the Goal,” which is fitting for the Expo volunteers whose role is to connect people.
The uniforms are due to be distributed to the volunteers from around January 2025. They will remain on loan until the end of the Expo but can be kept as a souvenir after the Expo closes.
