2024.05.17 Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Promoted at Japan-France Tourism Event

The Japan Association for the 2025 World Exposition (hereinafter referred to as “the Association”) promoted Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan (hereinafter referred to as “the Expo”) at a Japan-France tourism event held on 2 May at the Japan Cultural Institute in Paris, France, hosted by the Japan National Tourism Organisation (JNTO) and the Japan Tourism Agency of the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism. The promotions included a presentation about the Expo and a promotional booth, which generated a lot of enthusiasm.

Prime Minister KISHIDA also attended the Japan-France tourism event and gave a speech. During his greeting, Prime Minister KISHIDA also introduced MYAKU-MYAKU, which appeared on stage to liven up the event.

・Outline of the event
 The Japan Tourism Agency of the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism (MLIT) and the Japan National Tourism Organisation (JNTO) held a Japan-France Tourism Event to coincide with the OECD Ministerial Council Meeting held in Paris, France. The event was held to promote various regions, such as the Hokuriku region, which was hit by the Noto Peninsula earthquake, as well as Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan.
 Prime Minister KISHIDA attended the event and expressed his hope that the event would be an opportunity for many people from France to visit Japan and experience the diversity of attractions throughout Japan.

 Reception: The Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan Promotion booth was set up to provide visitors with the latest information and a MYAKU-MYAKU meet-and-greet event was held.
