To Be Distributed to Participants of Kansai University’s Expo Events
The Japan Association for the 2025 World Exposition (hereinafter referred to as “the Association”) is collaborating with Kansai University to issue the university’s first collaborative NFT through the EXPO2025 Digital Wallet.
Two types of NFTs will be distributed to participants of Kansai University’s Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan (hereinafter referred to as “the Expo”) related events and the “KANDAI Expo Club,” a student community inspired by the Expo. The university will also hold a permanent exhibition of the “MYAKU-MYAKU Key Visual NFT” on campus, helping to build momentum for the Expo among the students through the Digital Wallet.
* NFT (Non-Fungible Token): Irreplaceable digital data created based on a blockchain. This rally will use SBT (Soul Bound Token), a type of NFT technology that cannot be tampered with and cannot be transferred to another party. This is expected to be a new technology that can be used for participation certificates, etc.
1. NFTs issued by Kansai University
(1) “KANDAI Expo” SBT
With the slogan, “Bring the power of Osaka and Kansai to the world! Let’s make the Expo and Osaka exciting!” Kansai University has established the Expo Promotion Project and is working to create an educational environment that supports the realisation of dreams through the Expo from the perspective of nurturing the next generation of leaders. The SBT can be earned by participating in events organised by Kansai University based on the theme of the Expo.
(2) “KANDAI Expo Club” SBT
“If we don’t do it, who will? We want to share the excitement of the Expo!” This is the original SBT of the “KANDAI Expo Club”, a student community inspired by the Expo. You can earn it by participating in and co-creating unique projects for the realisation of a future society through the KANDAI Expo Club.
2. Permanent Exhibition of MYAKU-MYAKU Key Visual NFT
On the campus of Kansai University, a QR code for downloading the “MYAKU-MYAKU Key Visual NFT” will be on permanent display to build excitement for the Expo among the students.
