With 300 days to go before the opening of Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan (hereinafter referred to as “the Expo), a countdown board to the opening of Expo has been installed in Tokyo Station in cooperation with East Japan Railway Company (JR East).
The Japan Association for the 2025 World Exposition hopes that the users of Tokyo Station, one of Japan’s leading train stations, will feel the opening of the Expo approaching, and interest in the Expo will grow stronger than ever before.

1 Design
　The design combines the visuals of the Expo venue surrounded by “sky and sea” and the official character MYAKU-MYAKU, with the tagline “EXPO 2025 is coming!”, which simply and powerfully expresses enthusiasm for the Expo.
The screen in the centre of the countdown board will count down to the opening of the Expo, and broadcast promotional videos and other information to help people learn more about the Expo.

2 Period
　From 17 June, 2024 (300 days before the opening) to 13 April, 2025 (opening day) (planned)

3 Location
　Central passageway, JR East Tokyo Station (Inside the ticket gates, near the stairs of platforms 5 and 6)
