It performed a skit with members of the troupe!

(MYAKU-MYAKU making its debut appearance at Yoshimoto Shinkigeki)

MYAKU-MYAKU, the official character of Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan (hereinafter referred to as “the Expo”), made its debut appearance at Namba Grand Kagetsu theatre on Thursday, 20 June to build momentum for the Expo and celebrate the 65th anniversary of Yoshimoto Shinkigeki.
During the performance, MYAKU-MYAKU talked with the members of the troupe, including the leader, YOSHIDA Yutaka, and performed some familiar jokes, bringing laughter to the audience.
On 13 April, MYAKU-MYAKU spoke for the first time, saying “Hello” in Japanese, in the opening video of the event “Expo 2025 One Year to Go – Towards a Brighter Future for All”

At this Yoshimoto Shikigeki performance, it used its newly acquired language to converse with people for the first time.
Going forward, MYAKU-MYAKU will continue to learn new words and spread the appeal of the Expo. Please look forward to hearing what it will say next time!
