National Days and Special Days by the Official Participants (foreign governments and international organisations that have confirmed their participation in the Expo) and a wide variety of events which will allow visitors to feel the excitement and fun of learning and discovery will be held at Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan (hereinafter referred to as “the Expo”).
The Japan Association for the 2025 World Exposition (hereinafter referred to as “the Association”) is pleased to announce that the event calendar for the main event facilities at the Expo has been released ahead of the start of visit date and time bookings, which will start on 13 October, 2024.. In addition, the Events Page on the Association’s official website has been launched.
At present, there are 480* events that have been authorised for publication, all of which can be enjoyed free of charge.
*Number of events held at event facilities including popup stage, excluding events held at individual pavilions.

The event calendar of the main event facilities has been published for events for which permission for publication has been granted at present. Please refer to the supplementary material for an overview of each event.

Information on a variety of events, including events by the organisers and live music performances by famous artists will be frequently released.
Please check the events page on the Association’s official website (https://www.expo2025.or.jp/en/events/) for more information on these events as they become available.
▷ About National Days and Special Days
National Days and Special Days are days to honour the participation of the Official Participants. They will be held to deepen the understanding of the culture of the Official Participants and to contribute to the promotion of international goodwill. Distinguished guests and Expo visitors from Japan and overseas will be invited by the Official Participants to attend the ceremonies and cultural events.
▷ Other Events
Various events such as music events, stage events, festivals (“Matsuri”), sports events, exhibitions, seminars/presentations, ceremonies, etc. will be held at Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan. There will also be rich international events held by the Official Participants, events that embody the theme of the Expo by the eight Thematic Project producers, events by prominent artists from Japan and abroad, and events that connect traditional performing arts and festivals to the future. We will announce the information of other events as they are determined.
