The Japan Association for the 2025 World Exposition (hereinafter referred to as “the Association”) is pleased to announce the sponsor for the construction of bus stops in and around the venue and the information dissemination project for carbon neutrality, parts of the Future Society Showcase Project “Green Expo” at Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan (hereinafter referred to as “the Expo”).
The Association is still in discussions with a number of companies and organisations for each of the “Future Society Showcase Project Exhibitions,” and will announce new sponsors and organizations in due course.

*Green Expo: This project is part of the Future Society Showcase Project, which aims to realise future society by incorporating advanced technologies and systems at the Expo site as a showcase of the future society. It will realise cutting-edge technologies and visions of the future related to decarbonisation and resource circulation.

Project description
Bus stops for buses in and around the Expo venue, which will be used by many visitors, will be constructed and used as places to disseminate information about carbon neutrality. The project aims to realise the Expo 2025 Green Vision by using visual equipment to provide information that evokes a future society and energy to a wide range of visitors.

▽About the Future Society Showcase Project
　The Future Society Showcase Project is a general term referring to a group of projects that provide experiences to a wide range of participants and visitors from Japan and abroad by utilising technologies and services that support the theme of the Expo, “Designing Future Society for Our Lives” for the development, operation, exhibition, and events of the Expo site, in the form of “demonstrations” that give a sense of the future beyond 2025, and “implementation” that is suitable for the Expo.

▽About the Buses
　inside the venue will be operated under the sponsorship of The Kansai Electric Power Company, Incorporated; Osaka Metro Corporation; DAIHEN Corporation; and OBAYASHI Corporation. From a carbon-neutral perspective, electric buses will be introduced to demonstrate equipvalent to Level 4 automatic operation and dynamic wireless power transfer . The fare will be JPY¥ 400 per ride or JPY¥ 1,000 per day. The frequency of the buses will be every 2.5 to 5 minutes.
