The Japan Association for the 2025 World Exposition (hereinafter referred to as “the Association”) is pleased to announce part one of the calendar of the Theme Weeks programmes, which will be held both on and off site at Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan (hereinafter referred to as “the Expo”). In addition, a special Theme Weeks website was launched on 25 September, 2025. New programmes and detailed information on each programme will be published on this website in due course.
Please note that participation in the Theme Weeks programmes, with the exception of some programmes, will require advance booking.

▽ Example of one of the Theme Weeks programmes
Theme Weeks is an initiative aimed at bringing together the wisdom of countries from all over the world for six months to solve global issues, explore solutions through dialogue, and create a future society for our lives. One week will be dedicated to each of the eight themes, which focus on global issues. During the week, the organisers as well as official participants, national and local governments, industry, and others will hold an intensive programme of dialogues and exhibitions to explore solutions to these issues.
