The Japan Association for the 2025 World Exposition (hereinafter referred to as “the Association”) operated a booth to promote Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan (hereinafter referred to as “the Expo”) at a US-Japan Tourism Event hosted by the Japan Tourism Agency in New York.
KISHIDA, Fumio who was prime minister at the time, attended the event and mentioned the Expo in his speech.

The Japan Tourism Agency held a U.S.- Japan Tourism event in New York, U.S.A, to further expand exchanges between Japan and the United States during the “U.S.- Japan Tourism Year 2024” and to stimulate interest in visiting Japan by promoting Japanese tourism attractions. Prime Minister (at the time) KISHIDA attended the event and introduced the Grand Ring, pavilions, and ticket sales in his speech.
◯ Promotional activities:
● When Prime Minister (at the time) KISHIDA made a toast on the main stage, MYAKU-MYAKU, the official character of the Expo, also took the stage to promote the Expo.
● A PR booth was set up to provide the latest information to visitors and a MYAKU-MYAKU meet and greet was held.
