The Japan Association for the 2025 World Exposition is pleased to announce that the number of visitors to Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan (hereinafter referred to as “the Expo”) reached 1 million on 23 April, 11 days after the opening.

A ceremony was held to mark the achievement at the East Gate Plaza with a presentation of commemorative gifts and a photo session. Secretary General ISHIGE Hiroyuki took to the stage as the presenter of the ceremony and was joined by the Expo’s official character MYAKU-MYAKU, adding to the excitement of the event.
