The Japan Association for the 2025 World Exposition (hereinafter “the Association”) hereby announces that, as previously indicated on the official website of Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan (hereinafter “the Expo”), the application service for permission to use the Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan Official Theme Song “Kono Hoshi no Tsuzuki wo” (hereinafter the “Official Theme Song”) sung by Expo Ambassador KOBUKURO, including use of the sound recording and various scores, will end on Monday, 13 October 2025, the closing day of the Expo.
Please note that if you wish to use the Official Theme Song on or after 14 October, or if you are currently using it and intend to continue using it on or after 14 October, you will need to complete a separate licensing application procedure (including payment of applicable fees) with NexTone Inc., Warner Music Japan Inc., and HITS CORPORATION. See below for details and complete the required procedures.
