Educate the Community for a Better Future

The Republic of Angola’s national pavilion offering visitors an inspiring look at how education can shape healthier, more resilient communities. Guided by the theme ‘Educate the Community for a Better Future’ and aligned with the sub-theme ‘Saving Lives’, the Angola Pavilion blends storytelling, cultural expression and social insight to engage global audiences with a uniquely Angolan perspective. At the heart of the pavilion is a 10-minute film titled ‘A Tchissola Dream’, inspired by the true story of a young girl whose childhood battle with malaria fuels her ambition to become a healthcare professional. Screened in a purpose-built fifty-seat theatre, the film explores the balance between traditional healing and modern medicine, while underscoring the pivotal role of women in Angola’s health and education sectors.
