Located in the heart of South America, Bolivia is one of the 15 most biodiverse countries in the world.
Its natural environment is diverse, ranging from the lush Amazon rainforest to mountains towering 6,000 metres above sea level.
Bolivia is home to 15 million hectares of Ramsar designated wetlands, and 30% of the country’s territory is protected.
