Empowering Lives
Cabo Verde is a small island country located off the northwest coast of Africa in the Atlantic Ocean.
Its pavilion indicates that it can serve as a leader for humanity into a sustainable future using the natural
resources of the ocean, the wind, and the sun.
Focusing on the sub-theme of ‘Empowering Lives’, the interior of the pavilion is divided into three areas for
each of the thematic pillars: wind, sun, and ocean.
Each section features interactive exhibits on sustainability and innovation initiatives.
In addition to workshops and lectures, the pavilion offers music, dance, handicrafts, and other artistic
exhibits as well as cuisine to sample.
