Central Africa’s Challenge to Protect Forests and Build the Future

Located near the centre of the African continent, the Central African Republic is a landlocked nation that
is surrounded by six countries including Sudan and Cameroon.
The country is in a tropical climate right under the equator, and its two major seasons are the hot rainy
season and the relatively temperate dry season.
Its products include large volumes of diamonds and gold, as well as a thriving cotton industry.
The pavilion covers Central African forest conservation, wildlife preservation, and other social
contribution activities, as well as the country’s industrial development.
It also screens videos on the sustainable production of traditional handicrafts and the importance of
sustainability to the regional economy.
There are also exhibits on traditional handicrafts and the country’s primary industries.
