Guyana, a Lush Rainforest Treasure of Biodiversity
Located in northern South America, Guyana stands out as the continent’s only English-speaking country.
The nation’s economy has long been supported by agriculture and mining, but the discovery of vast oil
fields in 2020 has positioned Guyana for significant economic growth.
Approximately 80% of Guyana is covered by tropical rainforests, making it a haven for biodiversity and
natural beauty.
This abundance of nature is reflected in the design, inspired by Amaila Falls.
Visitors can enjoy videos showcasing the country’s lush landscapes and vibrant ecosystems.
The pavilion highlights Guyana’s commitment to sustainability and environmental stewardship, with
mock-up exhibits that present solutions for climate change and an eco-friendly lifestyle.
