A Land Where Maya Civilization and Nature Thrive

Facing the Caribbean Sea in the middle of Central America, Honduras has 3,000 years of history and
culture dating back to the height of the ancient Mayan civilization.
In addition to Copán and many other famous Mayan ruins, it also has extensive beautiful beaches,
shorelines, and islands on the Caribbean side.
70% of the population sustain themselves with agriculture, and Honduras is one of the world’s leading
producers of coffee, cacao and tobacco.
The pavilion includes a maya sculpture, virtual reality, coffee tasting, large video screen, photo panels,
and exhibits on the beauty of this country where nature and culture coexist side-by-side.
