Panamá

Located in Central America, Panama is one of the most important watersheds in the world, and is essential for preserving lives in the American continent and around the planet. Its strategical geographic location means that the Panama Canal, which connects the Pacific Ocean and the Atlantic Ocean (Caribbean Sea), acts as a biological bridge and connecting point, allowing the interchange of more than 16,000 plants, 15% of which are endemic to this country. The Panamanian jungles work like a carbon sink and preserve the life of over 300,000 natural species. It’s a clear demonstration of its life-saving potential throughout the world.
