Sao Tome and Principe is an island country comprised of islands including São Tomé and Príncipe located
in the Gulf of Guinea in west-central Africa. These islands are known for being the first place in Africa
where cacao was cultivated. At the pavilion, learn about local life and culture with a focus on cacao
cultivation, as well as environmental conservation efforts on Príncipe Island as a UNESCO biosphere
reserve.
