Uganda at the Equator Where Nature and Life Play in Harmony
Uganda is a landlocked country in eastern Africa, with Lake Victoria, the source of the Nile River, to its south.
Although directly under the equator, Uganda is located at an altitude of 1,200 metres and has a pleasant average annual temperature of 23°C.
It is distinguished by its many national parks and wildlife sanctuaries.
At the pavilion, look forward to the ‘sounds of Uganda’, a combination of sounds of the natural environment and traditional music.
Videos at the pavilion will cover major sightseeing spots, and there is also a life-sized mountain gorilla statue on display due to the Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, a World Heritage Site, being a wildlife sanctuary for the mountain gorilla.
