From November 10, 2019 to December 1, 2019, Japan Association for the 2025 World Exposition logo mark open call commemorative event “Let’s make EXPO 2025 together. ‘Let’s Design the Logo Mark!'” was held at libraries nationwide in 9 locations (Ishikawa, Hyogo, Nagasaki, Aichi, Okayama, Aomori, Kanagawa, Hokkaido, and Osaka).
The purpose of this event was to deepen an interest in the Expo through the production of the “Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan Logo Mark” whose application was open from November 29 to December 15. In this event, by using the logo mark familiar to the region as an example, participants could learn the role and formation of the logo mark. A wide range of about 390 people, from children to seniors, participated in the workshop, and many wonderful works with rich individuality were designed.

Comment from participants; “I think there will be a lot of extraordinary things at the Expo. I’m excited about it. I’ll cherish my badge until the Expo opens.” and “I am thrilled to feel that the Expo will be really held in Osaka.”
