Make sure to reserve your visit date and time
(1) How to reserve a visit date and time if you already have an Expo ID
Please reserve your visit date and time before coming to the Expo site. Even if you have an admission ticket, you may not be able to enter unless you make a visit date and time reservation.

Go to the official ticket website and log in to “My Ticket”.

Click on “Apply for the same Reservation/Lottery for multiple tickets” and click “Visit date and time reservation” to see the tickets for which you can reserve a visit date and time.
*If there are no tickets for which you can reserve a visit date and time, you will not be able to click the link.
You can also make a reservation for only one ticket through this link. -
Once you have selected the tickets you wish to reserve, simply select your desired date, time and gate!
- *If you are coming to the Expo with other people, you can enter their ticket ID at the same time, so that the group representative can make a reservations for everyone at the same time.
- *You can reserve your visit date and time of your visit from 6 months before your visit.
(2) If you obtained tickets from your company, etc.

First, register an Expo ID and log in to the official ticket site.

Click on “Register tickets obtained outside of this site” to register your Ticket ID.
After completing the additional ticket registration, please check “(1) How to reserve a visit date and time if you already have an Expo ID” and reserve your visit date and time.
Please have your ticket QR code ready before you arrive!
Log in to “My Tickets” and scroll down the page to see the tickets you have.
Click on “Display QR Code” to view the QR of your ticket. We recommend you take a screenshot!
QR codes are required for each ticket when visiting with more than one person. For example, if you are visiting with four people, please prepare the QR codes for each of the four tickets.
● Check the pavilions and events that you have already reserved!
If the QR code screen shows that there are reservations for pavilions and events, you can check the pavilions and events that you have already reserved by clicking the red banner at the bottom of the screen that says “Reservation status for pavilions/events, etc.” (1)
● You can print out the QR code in advance and bring it with you for peace of mind!
Click on the red banner at the bottom of the page that says “Print”(2) to download a printable A4 size PDF file. If you are concerned about the battery life of your smartphone, please print it out and bring it with you.
Tickets that allow you to attend without a reservation for a specific visit date and time are also available.

Same-day tickets sold at the entrance gate
*Reservable Ticket Vouchers cannot be used on certain days when crowds are expected (26 Apr – 7 May; Saturdays, Sundays and holidays between 1 June – 8 Aug; 13 Aug – 31 Aug; and the final month of the Expo(13 Sep – 13 Oct). Please click here for details.
*Please note that the sales schedule of same-day tickets sold in front of the entrance gate will change depending on the number of reservations that day. Please check availability on the homepage of this website.
Please use public transportation
No private vehicles are allowed to access the Expo site.
If you are coming by car, please park at the Expo P&R (Park & Ride) parking in Maishima, Amagasaki, or Sakai and ride the P&R shuttle bus to the West Gate of the Expo site. The Expo P&R parking requires advance reservation and payment. (Reservations can be made until the day before)
*You must log in with your Expo ID to make a reservation.
Persons with physical disabilities, wheelchair users, and those who require special consideration for mobility may use the Yumeshima Accessible Parking adjacent to the East Gate (East Entrance Plaza) of the Expo site.

The Expo site is fully cashless
No cash will be accepted at the Expo site, as this will be the first international expo to be fully cashless. Approximately 70 types of payment methods, including credit cards, e-money, and code payments, will be accepted to create a comfortable payment environment for visitors.
As a “laboratory for future society” we will take on the challenge of accelerating a cashless society in Japan.

Large baggage is not allowed
Please leave your large baggage somewhere before coming to the Expo site.
Luggage with wheels, such as suitcases, and large baggage [exceeding (W)600 mm x (H)400 mm x (D)900 mm] cannot be brought into the Expo site. Please leave your large baggage at your hotel, a locker, or official luggage storage facilities (at Benten-cho Station and Sakurajima Station).
Only small lockers are available at the Expo site.

*Walking aids, oxygen inhalers, etc. with wheels are allowed.

There are storage facilities for large baggage, etc. (1,000 yen/piece) at Benten-cho and Sakurajima Stations. We also offer a delivery service (from 1,500 yen/piece) to your accommodation or other destination.
● Handling of large baggage at the Expo site.
There is storage for 100 pieces of large baggage at the East and West gates for a fee (10,000 yen/piece). Due to space limitations, the number of items we can accept is limited and we may not be able to accept all items.
Bag checks will be conducted
Please cooperate with the baggage inspection at the entrance. Before entering the venue, your bags and beverages will be inspected at the gate. Please remove any beverages from your bags before lining up.
Some items are not allowed inside the Expo site. Please check the list of prohibited items before coming.

Smoking is prohibited at the Expo site
There are two smoking areas are located outside the East Gate. If you wish to smoke, please use the designated smoking areas. You will also need to follow the re-entry procedures.
● Re-entry procedures
If you leave the venue and wish to re-enter, please ask a staff member in the “multipurpose lane” at the entrance/exit gate. To re-enter, please follow the directions of the staff.

Pets are not allowed
Pets are not allowed in the Expo site. There are no kennel facilities, so please do not bring animals with you.
*Except service dogs, hearing dogs, and guide dogs.

Please be careful of heatstroke
Tents and parasols to provide shade from the sun and water dispensers will be set up around the Expo site, but high temperatures and humidity are expected during the summer months.
Please take precautions against heat stroke by wearing a hat and parasol, as well as bringing your own bottle of water to rehydrate yourself.
If you feel sick or are injured at the Expo site, please ask a nearby staff member or security guard for help. First aid will be provided at medical clinics (3 locations: doctors and nurses on duty) and first aid stations (5 locations: nurses on duty).
