EDIX is one of the largest exhibitions in Japan for schools, educational institutions, corporate human resources and training departments, and others involved in education. It is held in Tokyo and Osaka. The theme of the EDIX exhibition is "Weaving the Future of Education - A Starting Point for New Possibilities".

【Reflection】
The 7th EDIX (Education Expo) Kansai was held at INTEX Osaka for three days from Wednesday, October 2 to Friday, October 4, 2024.
100 companies exhibited, bringing together products and services related to the education sector, including educational ICT, teaching materials and content, school administration support, and human resource development.
5,596 attendees from schools and educational institutions, local governments, and companies, primarily from Western Japan, visited. They utilized the event as a venue to explore possibilities for implementation and collaboration through information gathering, comparative evaluation, and business matching with exhibitors.
During the event, 42 presentations were held, including seminars by experts and open classes, covering themes such as the digitization of education, the use of generative AI, and improving faculty workloads.
These sessions introduced real-world case studies and initiatives, providing opportunities to learn about trends and practical insights in the education industry.
Additionally, networking and training sessions among educators took place, fostering active exchange of opinions and information across roles. This created a space for participants to build connections and gain new insights.

The next EDIX (Education Expo) is scheduled to be held at Tokyo Big Sight from Wednesday, May 13 to Friday, May 15, 2026.
