Private cars and motorcycles are not permitted to enter the Expo site.

Train

  • No Reservation Required

The Osaka Metro Chuo Line is a railway line that provides direct access to Yumeshima Station in front of the Expo Site (East Gate).
With a high transportation capacity, it offers an easy and accessible means of transportation from Osaka City.

The Osaka Metro Chuo Line is a rail line that connects directly to Yumeshima Station (C09) in front of the venue (East Gate).

  • For Visitors Travelling by Shinkansen (Bullet Train):
    ・Take the JR Kyoto Line from JR Shin-Osaka Station (A46) to Osaka Station (A47). Transfer at Osaka Station to the Osaka Loop Line (inner loop) to Bentencho Station (O15), and transfer to the Osaka Metro Chuo Line.
    ・Take the Osaka Metro Midosuji Line from Shin-Osaka Station (M13) to Hommachi Station (M18) and transfer to the Osaka Metro Chuo Line.
  • For Visitors Travelling by Airplane:
    ・Take the JR Kansai Airport Line or Hanwa Line from JR Kansai Airport Station (S47) to Tennoji Station (R20), transfer to the Osaka Loop Line (outbound) at Tennoji Station to JR Benten-cho Station (O15), and transfer to the Osaka Metro Chuo Line at Benten-cho Station.
    ・From Nankai Kansai Airport Station (NK32), take the Nankai Airport Line or Nankai Main Line to Namba Station (NK01). Transfer at Namba Station to the Osaka Metro Midosuji Line for Hommachi Station (M18), and transfer at Hommachi Station to the Osaka Metro Chuo Line.

Bicycle

Bicycle parking is available by advance reservation (for a fee).

Private Car Use by Persons with Disabilities

Parking for persons with disabilities must be reserved in advance (for a fee). Reservations can be made until the day before the date of use.
Eligibility is limited to vehicles with passengers who are Special Ticket holders or those who experience difficulty getting around and require wheelchairs or walking aids due to injury or illness.
Accessible parking is located adjacent to the East Entrance Plaza of the Expo site.

Cross the Yumemai Bridge, enter the side road on the left from the overpass junction, and turn right at the first traffic light.

Taking a Shuttle Bus from JR Sakurajima Station

Reservations can be made via the KANSAI MaaS

Direct shuttle buses will operate between Sakurajima Station and the Expo site, boarding at the Yumeshima Transportation Terminal 1 in front of the West Gate.
Priority boarding will be given to passengers who have prepaid their shuttle bus fares.
Visitors using wheelchairs or pushchairs(strollers) can also make advance reservations throughout the day.
Reservations require downloading the KANSAI MaaS app.

Direct shuttle buses to the Expo Site (West Gate) are available from Sakurajima Station (P17) on the JR Yumesaki Line.

  • For Visitors Travelling by Shinkansen (Bullet Train):
    At Shin-Osaka Station (A46),
    (1) Take the JR conventional lines to Sakurajima Station.
    (2) Take a JR conventional line to Osaka Station (A47). Transfer to the JR Osaka Loop Line (inner loop) and transfer again to the JR Yumesaki Line at Nishi-Kujo Station (O14, P14).
  • For Visitors Travelling by JR Conventional Lines:
    On the JR Osaka Loop Line at Nishikujo Station (O14, P14), transfer to the JR Yumesaki Line.

Taking a Shuttle Bus from Major Nearby Stations

Reservations can be made via the KANSAI MaaS

Shuttle buses departing from major stations in the Kansai region, directly connecting to the Expo site, will board at Yumeshima Transportation Terminal 1 in front of the West Gate.
All buses must be pre-reserved, and with the exception of some vehicles, passengers can travel to the Expo site seated.
Reservations require downloading the KANSAI MaaS app.

Airport Bus or Expressway Bus

Airport buses operate from Osaka Itami Airport and Kansai International Airport, as well as expressway buses from prefectures in the Kinki region and other regions throughout Japan, arriving at Yumeshima Transportation Terminal 1 in front of the West Gate.
Large baggage is Not permitted at the Expo site.
If travelling from far away, please store your baggage in a locker at your hotel or at a station or airport near your point of departure in advance.

Taking a Shuttle Bus from Expo P&R Parking

Shuttle buses from the Expo P&R parking will stop at Yumeshima Transportation Terminal 1 in front of the West Gate.
Private cars and other vehicles are not permitted to enter the Expo site.
Visitors arriving by car should park at Expo P&R (Park and Ride) Parking in Maishima, Amagasaki, and Sakai, and then transfer to the P&R shuttle bus to reach the Expo site. Advance reservations are required for both parking and P&R shuttle bus use.
*Persons with disabilities should use Yumeshima Accessible Parking.

*Motorcycles can only use Maishima Expo P&R Parking.

For Visitors Travelling by Ship

When Using a Passenger Ship to Yumeshima

If you take a ship arriving at the Yumeshima North Coast Floating Pier, you can transfer to a “boat shuttle bus*” after disembarking the boat to get to the venue (West Gate).
*No reservation required for shuttle buses boarding from the Yumeshima Floating Pier.

When Using a Ferry Arriving in Locations Outside Yumeshima

If you wish to disembark outside of Yumeshima and use a private car or public transportation, please refer to the respective page for each transportation option for details.
Arrival gates vary depending on the transportation method.

Points to note when visiting

For Visitors Travelling by Taxi

If you are travelling by taxi, you can take a taxi at Yumeshima Transportation Terminal 1 in front of the Expo site (West Gate).
For information on travel time, fares, and other details, please contact the respective taxi operators.

Attention regarding large baggage

For the purpose of maintaining order, safety, and security, visitors are prohibited from bringing large baggage to the Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan. If you are coming from far away, please leave your baggage in a locker at your hotel, train station, or airport before coming to the Expo.
