The “TEAM EXPO 2025” programme was established in 2020 to realise the theme of Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan “Designing Future Society for Our Lives,” contribute to achieving the SDGs, and co-create the ideal future society by bringing together diverse participants. As of the end of October 2025, approximately 3,000 participants from companies, educational and research institutions (universities, research institutes, etc.), national government organisations (independent administrative agencies, etc.), international organisations, local governments, NGOs, NPOs, and various other groups have participated in the programme and carried out co-creation activities.
What is a Co-Creation Challenge?
A “Co-Creation Challenge” is an activity in which individuals or teams take the lead in co-creating the future to realise Expo 2025, Osaka, Kansai, Japan’s theme of “Designing Future Society for Our Lives” and contribute to the achievement of the SDGs.
What is a Co-Creation Partner?
“Co-Creation Partners” are corporations and organisations that support Co-Creation Challenges by offering resources such as connections, human resources, knowledge, funds, and promotion, to realise the Expo’s theme.
