Advanced Air Transportation
It is a next-generation air transportaiton system that is made accessible and sustainable through advancements in aviation technologies such as electrification and automation, as well as operational forms like vertical takeoff and landing.
In Japanese, it is referred to as a ‘flying car’ with the aim of becoming an indispensable part of people’s lives, much like automobiles.
In the ‘Mobility Experience’ located in the northwest part of the venue, ORIX Corporation will develop and operate the EXPO Vertiport (on-site port).
Flights will be conducted between the EXPO Vertiport and off-site ports using AAMs, as well as flights around the waterfront area surrounding the venue.
