The Japan Association for the 2025 World Exposition (hereinafter referred to “the Association”) is pleased to announce that it is soliciting proposals for sponsorship as the Expo Site Operation Participation (the fourth recruitment).
In order to make Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan (hereinafter referred to “the Expo”) even more attractive and to create a comfortable site for all visitors, the Association invites for the Expo Site Operation Participation by sponsoring facilities, goods, and services necessary for the site operation.
The fourth Operation Participation calls for applications for providing goods, services, and other items necessary for the Expo. This call is open to a wide variety of goods and services, and companies and organizations of various industries and sizes are welcome to participate.
In the second call for sponsorship, from July 26 to September 16 of this year, the Association solicited the same kind of provision of goods and services, and many enterprises and organizations showed their keen interest. Since the Association received many inquiries on participation in the site operation even after the application deadline, we are now accepting applications for the fourth round of Site Operation Participation.
The specific range of sponsorship for Expo Site Operation Participation will be decided after communications between the Association and the applicants.
Goods and services necessary for the operation of the Expo through sponsorship
Thursday, December 1, 2022: Announcement of application guidelines and start of acceptance of sponsorship proposals
Friday, December 23, 2022: Deadline for questions
Friday, January 13, 2023: Deadline for submission of sponsorship proposal
After the middle of January 2023: Individual hearings on sponsorship proposal
After February 2023 (tentative): Notification of the result of sponsorship proposal, conclusion of sponsorship contract, announcement of sponsor’s name (sequentially)
