The Japan Association for the 2025 World Exposition (hereinafter referred to as “the Association”) is pleased to announce that His Imperial Highness Crown Prince Akishino will be appointed Honorary President of Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan.

The Japan Association for the 2025 World Exposition has requested that His Imperial Highness Crown Prince Akishino be appointed Honorary President of Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan (hereinafter referred to as “the Expo”), today we received notification that His Imperial Highness would be able to accept the appointment as of 13 April 2023.
The following is a statement by TOKURA Masakazu, Chairperson of the Association, on the acceptance of His Imperial Highness Crown Prince Akishino as Honorary President of the Expo.
