The Japan Association for the 2025 World Exposition (hereinafter referred to as “the Association”) invites applications for designs of uniforms for staff welcoming visitors to Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan (hereinafter referred to as “the Expo”).
Uniforms for the Expo staff will be produced from a comprehensive standpoint, including heat protection, comfortability, functionality, durability, environmentally friendly materials, and recycling after the Expo, regardless of age or gender, from the perspective of diversity.
For details of the call for designs of staff uniforms, please refer to the application guidelines.

Application requirements

・Organizations or those with experience in clothing design are eligible.
・Both professionals and amateurs are welcome.
・Any nationality and place of residence are acceptable. However, applicants must be able to attend the screening session and other events held at a location (assumed to be Tokyo or Osaka) designated by the Association.

Schedule

First round screening: around early July 2023 ※ Only those who have successfully passed the first-round screening will be notified.
Second-round screening: around late August 2023
Announcement of results: around Fall 2023
